Arendal og Omegn Golf course Tvedestrand

Full Description: The club was founded in 1986, and work on the Arendal og Omegn Golf Course started in 1988. Due to public funding and a lot of voluntary wourk by the members, the club succeeded in completing the construction work in 1994.

Today Nes Verk Golfpark is one of the largest and best golf courses in Norway. The club can offer an 18-hole undulated course of high standard (par 72), and a 9-hole challenging Pay & Play Course (par 27 - 973 m.), driving range and putting green.

For beginners the club arranges courses in golf rules an etiquette at regular intervals. In order to obtain the Green Card (player's certificate) you have to pass a theoretical and practical test.

Nesgrenda Vel has cleared and marked many courses for hiking in the area. If you go on a walking tour you will find beautiful scenery and many interesting sports. In the lakes and in the river there are many good places for swimming. Storelva which runs through Nes Verk, has a good stock of salmon and trout. Fishing cards can be bought at a reasonable price in the GolfShop.
