Full Description: In the middle of year 1989 a group very reduced of cacereños friends who played golf in rustic zones of frontier meadows, tails of marshes when in summer lowered his water level, and they even approached to mainly practice it in next fields of Portugal, see the possibility of constructing a golf course, for which they founded a Sport Club by means of the pick up of partners that indicated the great restlessness to them that was in the society cacereña to practice this sport.

It was so the achieveed success that at the end of that same year there were 750 requests of adhesion. With this social mass the commitment of purchase of a property of 60 hectares is acquired denominated "the Oak of the Alcor" with a great underground water reserve.

Take refuging in the Law of Complementary Tourist Supply of the Meeting of Extremadura the works begin of which it would be the first golf course of Extremadura, being inaugurated officially day 26 of November of 1993.

Between the most important events that the Norba Club of Golf has made in its short history, they are the celebration of two Championships of Spain de Profesionales during years 1994 and 1995.
