Full Description: The Patriziale Ascona Golf Course was officially founded in March 1928

The initial idea of building a golf course in Ascona started in early 1925, and in 1926 for the very first time the word " Golf " arose in the Patriziale's acts.

Plans for building the course were laid out in 1926, with full planning for 18 holes on 50 hectares and with a course length of 5324 meters. In a short time work began and the first four holes were soon completed.

The Patriziale Ascona Golf Course has an excellent training facility and modern driving range. The structure, built out of steel and unbreakable glass, is the only one of its kind and combines perfectly its elegance and functionality. It accommodates up to 60 players and the driving range is long enough to allow players to hit irons or woods from both sides.

The golf season 2007 will start on Monday 19th March with our Opening Prize "Louisiana". Our Club Restaurant is again open daily from 08.00 until 20.00 hrs. We hope to see you soon on our course and wish you a good season!
