Full Description: The Postolowo Golf Course in Gdansk ranked by the Golf Digest as the best golf course in Poland is also probably the longest PAR 72 one in Europe with the lenght of 7094 meters. PGC has been lengthended to 7758 yards/7094 meter after 2006 9 new back tees has been constructed. Described by the german GOLF JOURNAL 2004 already as a "monster" from the back tees after extending process it becomes one of the most challenging golf courses of the world. Some of new back tees In Postolowo were suggested by the director of the PGA European Tour , Mr. Mikael Ericsson, who visited the course in 2004.

The Postolowo area itself is blessed with the sandy soil every golf superintendent dreams of. The native vegetation is beech wood with oak and plantations of pine. Being the second largest city in Poland, the Tri-City area presents a strong transportation picture. Hamburg, Copenhagen, London and Brussels are only 1 hour by plane with several links daily.Plane trip from and to Stockholm takes via Warsaw 3 hrs only. Warsaw is also reachable within 30 minutes by plane and the airport of Gdansk is only 25 minutes away from the Gdansk Golf course.
