The Riva dei Tessali Golf Resourt offers to the many tourist golfers coming from Italy as much as from different european countries, a second new most attractive and challenging course, 18 holes, par 72 and 6.284 metres long. Located in area of Metaponto - a Greek archaeological zone - the new course is at 10 minutes drive from the well known old course. Whilst the old course is surrounded by a long pine forest, the new course has totally different mediterranean landscape which develops between orange and olive trees. Designed by the studio of the well known British architect, John D. Harris and Associated Italian Office Arch. Marco Croze, the Riva dei Tessali golf course is a championship course in the best tradition. In a climate that is always ideal, the eighteen holes are laid out among splendid pine woods that immediately give a general idea of the beauty of a course which in some parts recalls the famous British links.
