Salzkammergut golf course Bad Ischl
Full Description: Built 1933, the Salzkammergut Golf course Bad Ischl is the third-oldest of the Austrian golf courses (only GC Semmering and GC Dellach are older). From the beginning, the course attracted the European high society, 1935 even American President Theodor Roosevelt could be welcomed as a guest. After war and a first re-birth in 1957, the 18-hole course opened in 1988.
Top golf events like the Salzkammergut Open often take place at the Salzkammergut golf course Bad Ischl. It’s no wonder since the course is quite tricky. Everybody who needs good tips will get advice from teaching-pro Franz Laimer.
Because of the extension to a 18 hole course, supraregional publicity for the game of golf, big sports success, and international events the club became a solid footing, which led to the economical independence of today.
