Sliven golf course Bulgaria

Full Description: Sliven Golf Course is located in the heart of Bulgaria and is 90 km far away from the Black Sea.

On May 24th 2004 was the official opening of second golf course in Bulgaria – Golf course Sliven. The golf course was officially dedicated by the Mayor of Sliven- Mr. Jordan Lechkov, who is also a part of the “Dream team” , from the World football championship, U.S.A. 1994 . On July 29th Air Sofia LTD, bought the golf course area. For less than 10 months were built up: - Golf course with 18 holes, par 71 on a land of 6 520 yard - Driving range - Putting green

The land the golf course is 500decares, enclosed wit a solid fence of 3 800 meters. The first realized project of Golf Creations – joint venture Between Air Sofia and a Spanish firm, which main objective is the golf tourism in Alicante, Spain. The Spanish partners will provide the Sliven golf course with an exchange of golf trainers, and will also assist for the training of golf specialists. In the building up of the golf course foreseen an automatic irrigation system – for the whole course. It is also foreseen an electric-injection fertilizing by the system. For the maintenance of the golf course are imported modern golf machines for golf courses –modern mowers. In Alicante will be trained technical staff in work and maintenance of the technique . Golf Creations has and many other projects concerning the Sliven municipality. On June 19th on the Sliven golf course took place the First golf cup Sliven tournament, 2004 won by Dr. Stoyan Dimitrov . After May 24th 2004 Air Sofia will effort the building up of the third golf course in the city of Razgrad.
