Tawast Golf Course Hameenlinna

Full Description: Tawast Golf course is 18 holes and is located to the south of Finland. Hämeenlinna is approximately 100 km to the north of Helsinki. The course was originally designed by architect Reijo Hillberg. The layout of the course is around a lake and attention was paid in the design to be in sympathy with the beauty of the lake, surrounding woodland and buildings. The club house, which was originally stables, is located at the centre of the course and offers a relaxed pleasant setting.

On the ground floor of the club house is the caddy masters office, a lobby and a fully licensed restaurant which has a separate room that can be used for business meetings or private functions. On the first floor are fully equipped dressing/locker rooms, saunas and showers for male and female players.

There is a covered terrace where golfers can relax after the day and see the sunset with friends to enjoy the last moments of a perfect day. A putting green is located directly in front of the club house. Close by is a driving range and practice areas for chipping, pitching and bunkers.
