Our courses are embedded in the vast, sunney Salzach-Valley and the amazing mountain views of the "Hohe Tauern National Park". The two golf courses "Schmittenhöhe" und "Kitzsteinhorn" are situated beside each other and form a flat, park-like terrain that is surrounded by biotopes and several lakes. Ideally located at the sunny base of the valley, the courses can be generally used from April to November.

Skiing on the “Kitzsteinhorn” in the morning, golfing on one of the 18-hole courses in Zell am See in the afternoon: that’ how a perfect, action-filled summer day in this region could look like. Those who concentrate only on golf will not experience less fun: the biggest alpine golf courses “Schmittenhöhe” and “Kitzsteinhorn” have fans in- and outside of Austria not only because of the excellent layout. At first glance the two courses resemble one another closely, after the first round you will rethink this quickly.

The course “Kitsteinhorn”, the older part, is a bit easier to play than the newer part, the “Schmittenhöhe”. The latter is more difficult because of the neat but tricky water barriers and the high greens.

Both courses are maintained on highest level – proof for that are the many greenfee guests. Accordingly, the driving range and all the other practice facilities are elaborately built and generous, so that there are no crowds at any time. The Pro-Shop, managed by David Shaw, ranks among the best in the country – the same goes for the exquisite club house cuisine.
